AUS Procurement [U] is a multi-faceted procurement education platform in support of non-acquisition staff members of the Department Of Veterans Administrations Medical Centers. AUS Procurement [U] provides professional development opportunities via unique and specific courses, seminars, live-training, case law studies as well as unique publications and more. AUS Procurement [U] is quickly becoming a globally-recognized discipline and is poised for rapid growth within VISN's and the Medical Centers.
Our focus is on providing the highest quality training and certifications process available for the VA Medical Centers non-acquisition teams [i.e. sourcing professionals, acquisition utilization specialist, contracting officers’ representatives and others] that support their medical center in the acquisition process.
AUS Procurement [U] offers students a curriculum of unparalleled breadth: more than 200 courses, seminars, and reading groups that together reflect the remarkable range of the faculty’s expertise and interests. Teaching and mentoring take place side by side, as faculty and students learn together and collaborate on meaningful projects.
Our technical approach includes theory, full application & performance scenarios, engaging discussions, regulations & policy auditing, practice quizzes and case law exams.
Our tried and true strategy for course design, development, and training is based on more than 20 years of experience in mastering the principles, processes and procedures of both the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and VA -Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) regulations to better maximize the Department Of Veterans Administrations internal productivity, and increase compliance and positive learning come.
